Agnes Husband House is a landmark office development on Dundee’s vibrant waterfront, with sweeping views of the iconic V&A Museum and RRS Discovery.
DKI delivered Cat B design services to shape the building around the tenants’ unique requirements. This involved substantial reconfiguration of the internal architecture while maintaining the integrity of the base build services strategy.
At ground level, the project introduces a welcoming, multi-use hub featuring a café, flexible meeting rooms, and presentation spaces. These visually striking facilities enhance the daily experience of occupants and extend the building’s appeal beyond traditional office use, creating a lively destination for both users and visitors. Accessibility and sustainability were central to the design. The inclusion of Changing Places facilities, drying rooms, and active travel provisions improved inclusivity while supporting the client’s commitment to decarbonisation and modern workplace standards.
